Recently, Yikong welcomed two Russian graduate students from the School of Mechanical Engineering and Power Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. During the multi-day exchange program, the students visited the company’s production lines, conducted on-site research into the manufacturing process of drive wheels, and held in-depth discussions with engineers on cutting-edge topics such as multimodal motion control and navigation system integration for AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles).

Leveraging their mechanical engineering background and native language advantage, the students systematically proofread and localized Yikong’s technical documents into Russian. The materials covered product manuals, commissioning guides, and safety standards, effectively enhancing the company’s technical communication capabilities and professional image in Russian-speaking markets.

As China’s intelligent equipment continues to accelerate its global expansion, the precise localization of technical documentation has become a critical step in opening international markets. Yikong, with its independent R&D capabilities in servo drives and AGV motion control, has already exported products to multiple countries and regions. The company attaches great importance to localization for international markets. This collaboration with SJTU’s international students not only improved the accuracy of its Russian technical materials but also laid a solid foundation for further expansion into Belt and Road markets.

This partnership has not only provided strong language support for Yikong’s products to enter Russian-speaking markets but also opened up a new model of international cooperation between universities and enterprises.
